Using Bert Knows
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for activity that happens under your account. Don't misuse the service, try to access other people's data, or use it to break the law.
Your content
Your shelf, ratings, notes, and replies belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them so the app can work — showing your shelf, generating recommendations, and deciding what to text you.
Text messages
Text messaging is optional and only starts after you give express consent and verify that the number is yours. The programme sends alerts about new episodes and new availability, recommendations, occasional reminders, and short confirmations when you reply.
Message frequency varies — it depends on what's on your shelf and what's happening with it. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, and HELP for help. You can also turn messaging off, set quiet hours, or mute individual titles in the app.
Alerts are best-effort. Delivery depends on carriers and on data from third parties, so we can't guarantee a message arrives, arrives on time, or that every new episode is caught. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Availability information
Streaming, rental, and purchase availability comes from third-party data and is indicative only. It can change without notice and can be wrong. Always confirm on the service itself before you rely on it.
No warranty and limits
The service is provided as-is, without guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Hover Digital Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from the app, which removes your shelf, phone number, and message history. We may suspend an account that is being misused.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
